St Finbarr’s Outside School Hours Care provides a safe, caring and stable environment for your children. Our dedicated and experienced staff aim to provide a comprehensive program that develops a number of skills, whilst providing an environment that promotes continuity from school and home life. We offer a variety of structured and unstructured activities developed with the children. These activities aim to develop social skills, self esteem, life skills, motor skills and problem solving skills. The activities we provide are:
- Cooking
- Board Games
- Sport
- Craft
- Outdoor Games
- Dress Ups
- Television and video
- CDs and music (children are able to bring their own music)
Afternoon Tea is provided with a view to modelling positive nutrition habits. Time is set aside for children to complete their homework. This gives families more “quality time” when they get home.
Co-operatively designed rules are reinforced and behaviour management issues are dealt with in compliance with the school’s Behaviour Management Policy.
In the morning we operate between the hours of 7.00 am and 9.00 am, and in the afternoon, 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm.
Bookings are required prior to attendance. Be assured there is always a safe, reliable and convenient place for your children to be cared for before and after school.
